There’s an uncanny presence on Joe and Kitty’s farm. Precious feed is mysteriously disappearing from the hayshed and prized livestock is being slaughtered at night whilst sinister shadows lurk in the darkness.
With fodder running out and no money left, Joe and Kitty, like their desperate neighbours, will stop at nothing to protect themselves and their cherished land. But at what cost?

The Olivier Award-winning production of Mike Kenny’s stage adaptation of E. Nesbit’s novel The Railway Children opened last night, 14 January 2015. Below, is a couple of pictures of Elaine and Stephen at the event.
A purpose built 1,000-seat theatre, complete with a railway track and platforms, and with a state of the art heating system, has been specially created on the site on King’s Boulevard, behind King’s Cross Station, which has been loaned to the production for the duration of the run by Google. The York Theatre Royal production, which is in association with the National Railway Museum, once again features a live steam locomotive and a vintage carriage, originally built in 1896.
Icon has been revealed as the name of the Lance Armstrong biopic about David Walsh’s pursuit of the famous cyclist, which is due to hit cinema screens this autumn.
Elaine will be starring as Betsy Andreu in the Lance Armstrong biopic, Icon. Among the cast and crew are Lee Pace (Pushing Up Daisies) and Ben Foster (The Punisher) who will play Lance, Chris O’Dowd (The IT Crowd, Bridesmaids) and Dustin Hoffman.
An Irish sports journalist becomes convinced that Lance Armstrong’s performances during the Tour de France victories are fueled by banned substances. With this conviction, he starts hunting for evidence that will expose Armstrong.
Icon is directed by Stephen Frears (High Fidelity, Philomena) and will be released in the USA in August 2015.
Now the characters are established, you can motor along a bit more,’ says Elaine. ‘Katherine’s quite a piece of work. She’s in your face. But I’ve tried hard not to make her a pantomime villain. She’s a real person with real feelings but totally different from me.
