ELAINE CASSIDY AT SHOTTLE HOTEL
CELEBRITY guests enjoyed a stay at the Shottle Hall Country House Hotel while filming in Derbyshire.
Colin Firth, Jim Broadbent, Juliet Stevenson, Gina McKee, Elaine Cassidy, Claire Skinner and Sarah Lancashire have all been staying at the hotel while filming for 'And When Did You Last See Your Father?'.
Over the past 18 months managing director Joanne Nicol, her husband Steve, her son James Davis and his partner Rachel Hatch have overseen an extensive £1.5m renovation which has transformed the hotel into a unique and luxurious country retreat and sophisticated dining venue.
During their renovation project they also received a surprise visit from another special visitor as HRH Prince William called in to view the restoration work at Shottle Hall as part of his tour of the Chatsworth Estate.
Managing director, Joanne Nicol said: "We thoroughly enjoyed the cast staying with us. It was wonderful to have all the main actors of the film here and we hope to welcome them back with their families in the very near future".
Shottle Hall Country House Hotel is situated in 14 acres of gardens and grounds on the Duke of Devonshire's Chatsworth estate, near Ashbourne in the heart of the Peak District.
Colin Firth thanked the hotel team for their wonderful food, company and hospitality.
